Project ENERGI
Engaging New Educators through Retention and Growth Initiatives
Project ENERGI is a collaborative initiative between the Huntsville Education Association and the National Education Association that focuses on enhancing new teacher induction, which is the process by which school systems provide a variety of professional support services to newly employed teachers under the guidance of district or professional personnel to facilitate recruitment to and retention in the education profession.
MISSION: The collective goal of Project ENERGI is to partner with schools and community stakeholders to work collaboratively to support teacher retention efforts for early career educators by providing multifaceted, equity-centered new teacher supports.
